Cyprus Swim Series is an international series of competitive open water swimming. The event will take place in Pissouri (3rd edition) on the 13th to 15th of November 2026, at Pissouri Beach, just in front of Columbia Beach Resort. Cyprus Swim Series is comprised of a 8km super endurance individual race, a 8km relay race, a 5km endurance race, a 3km challenge race, a 2km fins race, a 1,25km juniors race and a 0,5km kids race. The event attracts people from all around Europe and locals. Junior races are aged from 13 to 17 years old; Kids races are aged from 8 to 12 years old; the other distances are categorized in groups like: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+. All distances have different award ceremonies for men and women. 8km individual and relay races have no age categories. 8km relay race can be done in 2 persons of 4km each or 4 person of 2 km each. Pre race gathering is also part of the event, where lines referees and FINA referees explain the race course, talk about safety, fair play and answer questions that participants might have. The Cyprus Swim Series returns to Pissouri Beach for its third edition, turning the coast in front of Columbia Beach Resort into a hub for open-water swimming. The event brings together competitive swimmers from across Europe and local participants for a weekend of races across multiple distances, from a super-endurance 8km individual race to a 0.5km kids race. Relay teams can take on the 8km distance in pairs or groups of four, while age-group categories ensure a broad range of competitors.
Beyond the racing, the series includes a pre-race gathering where line referees and FINA referees walk participants through the course, covering safety, fair play, and answering questions. With award ceremonies for men and women across all distances, the event offers a structured yet welcoming atmosphere for swimmers of all levels, set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean.
