Reborn - Premiere at FITZ Das Theater animierter Formen

Reborn - Premiere is a hybrid performance at FITZ Das Theater animierter Formen in Stuttgart on 29 October 2026, 20:00. It combines contemporary figure and object theatre, performance, concert and livestream. The starting point is so-called reborn dolls, hyperrealistic replicas of infants that are staged on social networks in curated, seemingly intimate scenes.

The piece examines how everyday actions are aestheticised and made repeatable by platform logic, and what happens when that logic is translated into a physical stage space. On stage, precisely re-created social media reenactments meet archaic, physical and material images and installation-like elements. Live electronics, electroacoustic sound generation and a classically trained voice create a soundscape between concert, ritual and loss of control.

A livestream runs alongside the stage action and adds a second, media-based level of perception. Winnie Luzie Burz is responsible for performance, set design and concept, Johannes Treß for sound, and Laura Oppenhäuser is the support.

The running time is about 60 minutes. Tickets start at EUR 16.50, and a discount is available.
