This intimate London performance explores the rich history of the traditional Canadian folk song "Land of the Silver Birch," a tune dating from the 1920s that has been sung by canoeists and around campfires for generations. Saxophonist Pete Wareham brings his own interpretation to the piece, which is known for its Aeolian melody and romanticized vision of nature.
