The Bootleg Beatles at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, 15 December

The band has performed over 4,000 times since it was established in March 1980. It was formed by Andre Barreau, Neil Harrison and David Catlin-Birch, who had been London cast members of Beatlemania. Their first performance was at a small student gathering in Tiverton, Devon, England.

Later they toured the Soviet Union with 60 dates. In 2010 the band made its first headline appearance on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival. In 2017 they performed to capacity crowds at the Royal Albert Hall and Echo Arena Liverpool.
