The Darling Buds bring their melodic, hook-driven alternative rock to Birmingham for a special show. Fans can expect a setlist drawn from the band's late-80s and early-90s catalog, including tracks from their debut LP *Pop Said...* and the US single "Long Day in the Universe."
The Newport-formed band, fronted by Andrea Lewis, was known for its catchy, short-duration singles and was part of the late-80s "Blonde" movement alongside The Primitives and Transvision Vamp. This concert offers a chance to experience their energetic live performance, which once earned them appearances on *Top of the Pops* and the cover of *Melody Maker*.
