Corto.Alto Live in Cambridge

Corto.alto, the Glasgow-born music project led by multi-instrumentalist Liam Shortall, brings its genre-blending sound to Cambridge. Known for the Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut album "Bad With Names," the band fuses jazz, electronic, and experimental elements with Shortall's trombone, bass, and effects.

Attendees can expect a dynamic live set featuring Shortall alongside drummer Graham Costello (of STRATA), keyboardist Fergus McCreadie, and a rotating horn section including James Copus, Harry Weir, and Mateusz Sobieski. The project's name is a bilingual pun on Shortall's surname, reflecting his Spanish ancestry.
