Lire tous les détails
Ian Prowse, the Merseyside guitarist and singer-songwriter known as the 'Scouse Springsteen', brings his band Amsterdam to The Brook in Southampton. With a 30-year career and a reputation for 100% committed live shows, Prowse delivers an evening of indie rock rooted in protest songs and Celtic influences.
Fans can expect a set that draws from Amsterdam's catalogue, including their UK top 40 single 'The Journey' and the emotionally charged 'Does This Train Stop on Merseyside?', a song that famously moved John Peel to tears on Radio 1. Prowse also fronts the indie cult band Pele, whose early singles topped the Radio 1 A-List.
Having recently completed his Fireworks 30 Tour and supported acts like Elvis Costello and The Wonder Stuff, Prowse performs with the full Amsterdam band, promising a night of passionate, storytelling-driven rock.
