The Pride Tour – Queer Irish, Global Impact is a tour at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin, held on 2 to 6 November 2026 and 18 to 22 January 2027. It starts at 13:00. The tour looks at Irish queer histories, covering the lives of LGBTQ+ Irish emigrants, activists, artists and other figures who challenged attitudes at home and made their mark around the world.
Topics include why many LGBTQ+ Irish people left Ireland to find greater freedom and acceptance elsewhere, and Dublin's Molly Houses, where LGBTQ+ communities gathered in the 18th and 19th centuries. The tour also covers Dr JM Barry and Albert Cashier, and Father Bernard Lynch and his work supporting people affected by the AIDS crisis in New York during the 1980s. Figures discussed include Oscar Wilde, Eileen Gray, Eva Gore-Booth, Emma Donoghue and Graham Norton.
The tour also covers Ireland's changing LGBTQ+ rights, including decriminalisation in 1993 and marriage equality in 2015. Tickets start from €25 for adults and €11 for children.
