Fruition in Indianapolis

Fruition is a five-piece band that formed in Portland, Oregon, blending folk-rock with soul, bluegrass and country influences. Built around the vocal harmonies of Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek and Mimi Naja alongside bassist Jeff Leonard and drummer Tyler Thompson, the group grew out of the city's busking scene into festival-circuit regulars associated with the jamgrass movement, even as they've pushed back against that label on recent records that lean further into soul and pop songwriting. Known for extended live jams built on tight three-part harmony, Fruition has built its reputation on the road over more than fifteen years together. Their Indianapolis stop finds the band mid-tour ahead of a new album, giving audiences a chance to hear a mix of catalog favorites and newer material in a live setting the band has built its name on.
