Masterworks: Bartok & Bolero

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra's Masterworks program pairs Bartok with Ravel's Bolero, anchoring the MoxCar Marketing and Communications Masterworks Series with a full orchestral evening. Music Director Aram Demirjian has shaped the season around major orchestral and choral repertoire, with room for celebrated soloists.

The ensemble is a professional orchestra with deep roots in the South, one of the region's oldest continuing groups of its kind. It has appeared at the Kennedy Center as part of the SHIFT Festival of American Orchestras and has welcomed internationally known guest artists over the years. Its history reaches back through several music directors to the present.
