Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera tells the tragic story of Christine Daaé and her mysterious tutor beneath the Paris Opera House. Based on the 1910 novel by Gaston Leroux, the musical has been seen by over 140 million people across 41 countries, and it won the 1986 Olivier Award and 1988 Tony Award for Best Musical.
The touring production brings elaborate sets, including the famous chandelier, and a score featuring 'The Music of the Night' to Kansas City. The original Broadway production, which played its final performance in 2023, was the longest-running show in Broadway history.
