Wilson's journey to music began in Seymour, Indiana, where he was raised by a single father. He overcame stage fright through amateur boxing, and was inspired to write songs after hearing Tim McGraw's 'Don't Take the Girl'. His father's death in 2018 inspired his album 'Son of Dad'.
Influenced by Willie Nelson and grunge bands like Nirvana, Wilson's music blends country and rock. His single 'Gary' was released to country radio in 2026.
