1. What Wanderistan is

Wanderistan is a free informational guide to events, local places, on-duty pharmacies and cost-of-living information for residents and visitors. It is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Wanderistan is part of the Avenmark Media portfolio, which owns and publishes this site.

2. Accuracy of information

We work to keep listings — including pharmacy rotas, prices, opening hours and locations — accurate and up to date, drawing on official and public sources. However, this information can change without notice and we cannot guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. Always confirm critical details (such as whether a pharmacy is open) directly with the provider before you travel or rely on them.

3. Where our information comes from

Event listings are aggregated from ticketing and listing feeds we have agreements with — among them Ticketmaster, Eventim, adticket, TicketOne and See Tickets — together with official tourism boards and public open-data portals. Place, venue and map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors. On-duty pharmacy rotas are reproduced from the official rosters published by the relevant national authorities. Weather figures come from Open-Meteo.

Listing descriptions are drafted with automated assistance from the source material and the structured data attached to each event, then published under our editorial standards. We link to the official source for a listing wherever one exists so you can confirm details first-hand. Where we have not been able to verify something, we would rather say so than guess — corrections are welcome at [email protected].

4. Pharmacy and health information

On-duty pharmacy data is reproduced from official rosters published by the relevant national authorities. It is general information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

5. Third-party links

The site links to external websites, maps and services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those third parties, and a link does not imply endorsement.

6. Affiliate disclosure — how we make money

Wanderistan is free to read. We earn money in two ways, and we would rather you knew which is which.

Affiliate commission. Some outbound links to tickets, tours, activities, accommodation, flights, transfers, eSIMs and travel insurance are affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, we may receive a commission from the merchant. You never pay more because of it — the price is the merchant's normal price. We work with affiliate networks including Travelpayouts, Awin and Impact, and with partners including Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Klook, Musement, Ticketmaster, TicketNetwork, TUI, Stay22, Airalo, SafetyWing and Heymondo. This list changes over time and is representative rather than exhaustive.

Advertising. We display third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Ads are sold and served by the ad platform, not by our editorial team. What this means for cookies and your choices is set out in our Privacy Policy.

What commission does not buy. Which events, places and destinations we list, and the order we list them in, is decided on editorial and relevance grounds. A merchant cannot pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to have a review changed. Where a link earns us commission it is marked up as a paid link for search engines (rel="sponsored nofollow"), and partner modules are labelled as partner content where they appear.

Some partner content — including the accommodation map on event pages — only loads if you accept partner cookies. Declining does not hide this disclosure and does not change the rest of the site.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that degrades service for others, or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others.

8. Intellectual property

The Wanderistan name, design and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Data sourced from public bodies remains subject to the licence under which it is published (for example, official open-data licences referenced on the relevant pages).

9. Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date above shows when this version was last updated.
