Benzaquine 4tet: Jazz Quartet at Le Melville

Valérie Benzaquine brings her all-female quartet to Le Melville for an evening of jazz. The pianist and arranger, known for her work in musical theatre and jazz clubs, leads a group that reworks standards and performs original compositions with swing and improvisation.

The lineup features saxophonist Shekinah Rodz, whose incandescent style draws from her Puerto Rican roots; drummer Julie Saury, a seasoned player on French and international stages; and contrabassist Antonella Mazza, the first woman to establish herself in jazz bass in Italy. Together, they deliver an explosive set of revisited classics and electric originals.
