About France
France remains the world's most-visited country, and it earns it: Paris's museums and boulevards, Provence's lavender fields and hilltop villages, the Riviera's glamour, Loire Valley château country, Normandy's D-Day beaches, and wine regions from Bordeaux to Burgundy and Champagne. Paris itself is compact and walkable but can feel overwhelmed by visitor numbers in peak summer.
