The Ciné-Club Le 7e Genre invites you to an evening at the Médiathèque James Baldwin, centered on the screening of Valérie Minetto's 2006 film "Oublier Cheyenne." Following the projection, journalist and co-author Anne Delabre will lead a discussion on the evolution of lesbian representations in French cinema, touching on censorship, innuendo, desire, transgression, and self-affirmation.
This free event offers a deep dive into LGBTQI++ portrayals in the seventh art, with examples illustrating the diversity of female homosexuality on screen.
