« Corps extrêmes » de Rachid Ouramdane / Compagnie de Chaillot

Rachid Ouramdane's "Corps extrêmes" brings together a highliner, a climber, and eight acrobats in a fusion of dance and extreme sport. On stage, a climbing wall looms over performers launched into the air, while a highliner traverses a tightrope above them. The piece, created in 2021, explores notions of flight, weightlessness, and suspension, offering both a documentary testimony and a poetic journey.

Projected images show highliner Nathan Paulin and climber Nina Caprez in stunning natural landscapes, with their voices—alongside that of aerialist Airelle Caen—sharing personal reflections on their practices. The result is a human and artistic adventure that has captivated 75,000 spectators worldwide, evolving between sky and earth with an imposing climbing wall as its central support.
