This family-friendly theatre production brings two classic Tomi Ungerer tales to life on stage. Based on "The Three Robbers" and "The Giant of Zéralda," the show follows clever young heroines who use kindness and wit to transform fearsome characters into friends. An actor portraying the beloved author himself, complete with his distinctive Alsatian accent, narrates the stories and even bakes a real chocolate cake on stage.

Children aged 4 to 10 can expect an interactive experience where audience members are invited to participate—one child might play the three knocks, another an orphan. The performance uses faithful text, puppets, and sets from Ungerer's original albums, blending theatre, storytelling, and puppetry into a 45-minute show. It is presented as part of the Parisian young audience festival "L'été des p'tits futés" at Théâtre Darius Milhaud, near the Parc de la Villette and Buttes-Chaumont.
