Fantastic Writing Workshop in Paris

This five-day workshop in Paris invites aspiring writers to dive into the fantastic genre, whether they have a project in mind or simply want to explore its codes. Participants will work on imagination, strangeness, and narrative structure, drawing inspiration from classic authors like Julio Cortazar, Dino Buzzati, and Théophile Gautier, as well as contemporary voices such as Neil Gaiman.

The sessions combine technical and thematic writing prompts, using texts, poems, illustrations, and photos as springboards. Attendees will develop multiple short texts or the seeds of a longer project, with feedback from the instructor and the group in a supportive environment. The workshop is led by Sophie David and limited to eight participants, ensuring personalized attention.
