The Wailers Bring Positive Vibrations to Honolulu

The Wailers bring their 50 Years of Positive Vibrations tour to Honolulu, a celebration of Rastaman Vibration, the album that carried reggae's message of resistance, spirituality and hope onto the global stage. The programme highlights select cuts from that record — “Positive Vibration”, “Roots, Rock, Reggae” and “War” — alongside classic Wailers songs that have united audiences across generations. Under Aston Barrett Jr., son of original bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett, the band carries the music forward with purpose and authenticity; Barrett Jr. also portrayed his father in the Bob Marley: One Love biopic.

At Blue Note Hawaii, the show pairs live reggae with a full bar and dinner menu. Seating is first come, first served per section, and while table seating is all ages, the bar area is restricted to 21+. It's an intimate setting for this reggae repertoire.
