Informazioni su Aaron Lee Tasjan
Tasjan turned down a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music to move to Brooklyn in 2006, where he played guitar in the glam-rock band Semi Precious Weapons alongside Justin Tranter. He relocated to Nashville in 2013 to focus on songwriting and a solo career rooted in folk rock and Americana.
His solo albums include the Karma for Cheap series (2018-2019), Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan! (2021) and Stellar Evolution (2024). His song "Diamond Studded Shoes" earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best American Roots Song in 2022. Critics have described his songwriting as raw and poetic, "soaked in spilled whiskey, misunderstood tears and dusty memories."
