Informazioni su Band of Horses
The band's second album, Cease to Begin (2007), debuted at number 35 on the Billboard 200 and earned a Metacritic score of 78, drawing four-star reviews from Rolling Stone, Spin and The Guardian. The follow-up, Infinite Arms (2010), reached number seven on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album. Singles such as "Is There a Ghost" and "No One's Gonna Love You" extended the band's reach on rock radio.
Guitarist Tyler Ramsey and bassist Bill Reynolds, who joined after the band's early lineup changes, spent roughly a decade with the group before departing in 2017; Bridwell has said the pair were let go rather than leaving voluntarily. Drummer Creighton Barrett has remained with the band since 2005, and the current lineup also includes bassist Matt Gentling, guitarist Brett Nash and keyboardist Joel Graves.
Band of Horses released Things Are Great in 2022, described by reviewers as a return to the sound of its earlier records, and issued a live acoustic album in 2024. The band has also worked with singer-songwriter Iron & Wine on a collaborative album of cover songs.
