Informazioni su Brooke Combe
She came to national prominence with her 2021 debut single Are You With Me?, a soul-influenced track with a hand-clapping chorus, and was signed to Island Records the same year. She won Female Revelation at the 2021 Scottish Music Awards and released the 2023 mixtape Black Is the New Gold.
Combe subsequently left Island Records over creative differences regarding commercial direction and went on to release her debut studio album, Dancing at the Edge of the World, independently in 2025, working with producer James Skelly. The Northern soul-influenced record drew critical praise for its vintage styling. She also won Rolling Stone UK's PlayNext Award in 2024.
In 2025 she toured as the opening act on Benson Boone's American Heart World Tour, extending her audience beyond the UK.
