Informazioni su Chief Keef
His 2012 single I Don't Like caught the attention of Kanye West, who produced a remix featuring Big Sean, Pusha T, and Jadakiss, propelling Keef to mainstream recognition while he was still a teenager. His debut studio album, Finally Rich (2012), included the singles I Don't Like, Hate Bein' Sober, and the quintuple-platinum Love Sosa.
Cozart is credited as a pioneer of Chicago drill music, characterized by minimalist, atmospheric production and a melodic, slurred vocal delivery. He was also an early adopter of distributing music directly through YouTube and SoundCloud rather than through traditional label channels, a model later followed by other artists.
His catalog since Finally Rich includes the albums Bang 3 (2015), Dedication (2017), 4NEM (2021), and Almighty So 2 (2024), alongside a prolific run of mixtapes. His ad-lib-heavy style and drill sound have influenced rappers including 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and XXXTentacion.
