Chiodos is an American post-hardcore band formed in Davison, Michigan, in 2001. Originally performing as The Chiodos Bros, the group took its eventual name from filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, directors of Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The band's sound blends post-hardcore with elements of pop-punk, experimental rock, emo, progressive rock, and screamo.

Informazioni su Chiodos

Craig Owens has fronted the group as lead vocalist across most of its history, with a lineup that has also included guitarist Mitch Rogers, bassist Nick Ventimiglia, drummer Nick Clemenson, and rhythm guitarist Simon Martinez, alongside earlier members Bradley Bell and Thomas Erak. Chiodos released its debut album, All's Well That Ends Well, in 2005.

The band's commercial peak came with Bone Palace Ballet in 2007, which reached number five on the Billboard 200. Illuminaudio followed in 2010, and Devil arrived in 2014, marking Owens's return to the group as vocalist after a period apart.

Chiodos disbanded in 2016 after concluding it could no longer operate as a full-time act. The band reunited in 2024 to perform at the When We Were Young Festival, with Owens assembling a new lineup, and released a re-recorded anniversary edition of its debut album followed by the 2026 single "Tapdat" on SharpTone Records.
