Fetty Wap
Fetty Wap, born Willie Junior Maxwell II on June 7, 1991, in Paterson, New Jersey, is a rapper and singer who began releasing music in 2013. He was born with glaucoma and lost sight in one eye, later being fitted with an ocular prosthesis.

His breakout single "Trap Queen," released in early 2014, propelled his self-titled 2015 debut album to the top of the Billboard 200. Follow-up singles "679" and "My Way" also reached the top ten of the Hot 100. He has described his style as blending singing and rapping into what he calls "ignorant R&B."
Fetty Wap won the MTV Video Music Award for Artist to Watch in 2015 and took home Best New Artist honors at both the iHeartRadio Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards in 2016, alongside two Grammy nominations.
After a period of legal trouble that included prison time on drug trafficking charges, he was released in January 2026 and returned to recording, releasing the comeback album Zavier in March 2026.
