Informazioni su Il Volo
The trio's self-titled 2010 debut album entered the top ten in several countries and made them, under manager Michele Torpedine, among the first Italian acts signed directly to a major American label, Geffen Records. Their holiday release "Buon Natale: The Christmas Album" (2013) reached number one on Billboard's Holiday Albums chart, and the group has since drawn multiple Latin Grammy and Billboard Latin Music Award nominations for its Spanish-language recordings.
Il Volo won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2015 with "Grande amore" and represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest that year, finishing third overall after winning the public televote. The group returned to Sanremo in 2024 with the song "Capolavoro."
Their discography includes "We Are Love" (2012), "Grande Amore" (2015), "Musica" (2019), a 2021 tribute album devoted to film composer Ennio Morricone, and "Ad Astra" (2024); the group continues to record and perform internationally, blending classical and popular repertoire.
