Space
Space is an English band formed in Liverpool in 1992 by singer and guitarist Tommy Scott alongside Jamie Murphy and Jamie Island. The current lineup pairs Scott with keyboardist Franny Griffiths, bassist and keyboardist Phil Hartley and drummer Allan Jones.

The band's 1996 debut album Spiders and 1998 follow-up Tin Planet both went platinum in the United Kingdom and produced eight top-40 singles, including "Female of the Species" and "Avenging Angels." Critics dubbed the band's mix of electronica, hip hop, techno and film-score influences "queasy listening."
Space split in 2005 and reunited in 2011, and has continued to tour and record since, with live sets typically drawing on their singles-heavy 1990s catalogue alongside newer material.
Their most recent studio album, Blood and Bubblegum, was released in November 2024.
