Home Alone in Concert at Vorst Nationaal/Forest National

Home Alone in Concert is a film-with-live-orchestra show at Vorst Nationaal/Forest National in Forest (Brussels) on 18 December 2026, 20:00. The whole film is screened on a big screen while 115 musicians from the Noordpool Orchestra and the choir Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam perform the score live, conducted by Julian Bigg. The music is by five-time Academy Award winner John Williams and is played in sync with the film.

The film is shown in English, with subtitles in French and Dutch. Home Alone premiered in 1990. It tells the story of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left home alone when his family leaves for the Christmas holidays and has to defend his home against two burglars.

Cinema in Concert presents the production during the 2026 holiday season. Children's tickets are available for ages 6 to 12. Ages are checked at the entrance, and anyone older than 12 (born before 7 December 2014) is expected to pay the difference on site.
