Medieval Agia Napa Festival resurrects the pageantry, crafts, and theatre of medieval Cyprus.

The Medieval Agia Napa Festival transforms the town into a living history event, with theatrical troupes, musicians and craftspeople from across Europe recreating medieval Cypriot life. The Medieval Monastery serves as the setting for street theatre, dramatic performances and traditional music. Over five days, visitors can watch artisans demonstrate pottery and basketry, sample medieval food and wine served from wooden barrels, browse craft markets, and watch processions of costumed performers. Participating groups travel from countries including Greece, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, Germany and Poland, making it one of the largest continuous festivals of its kind in Cyprus and Europe. The programme favours hands-on demonstrations and immersive scenes over static displays, and suits families as well as history enthusiasts.
