OceanMan Cyprus open-water swim at Ayia Napa Marina, 6-8 November 2026

The whole weekend runs out of Ayia Napa Marina, which serves as registration point, expo area, start and finish for every race, and as the setting for the briefing, the welcome party and the award ceremonies.

The race formats are the OCEANMAN over 10 km and the HALF OCEANMAN over 5 km, both swum on 8 November with starts at 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM respectively, plus three shorter events on 7 November: the SPRINT over 2 km at 9:00 AM, the OCEANTEAMS relay of 3x500 m at 10:30 AM and the OCEANKIDS race over 500 m at 11:30 AM. Every distance starts and finishes at Ayia Napa Marina.

The longer swims carry cut-offs and time limits. OCEANMAN swimmers must pass 3 km within 1h 30min and 6 km within 3h, with an overall limit of 4h 30min and 2 feeding points on the course; the HALF OCEANMAN has a 3 km cut-off at 1h 30min, a 2h 30min limit and 1 feeding point, and the SPRINT must be completed within 1h 30min. Wetsuits are allowed in all races and a safety buoy is mandatory for everyone.

The event opens on 6 November with registration and the expo at the marina from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a race briefing at 6:00 PM and a welcome party at 7:00 PM. On 7 November the wardrobe and expo run from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the award ceremony follows at 12:30 PM, and registration reopens from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On 8 November the wardrobe opens at 6:30 AM and the closing award ceremony is at 12:30 PM.

Each race has male and female categories, and OCEANTEAMS adds a mixed category. All swimmers are covered by accident insurance and receive a finisher medal and a race bag with swim cap, race t-shirt and timing chip; the first three overall and in each category receive a trophy or medal, and medical assistance with an ambulance and first aid is on site. The organiser lists the sea as the swim environment, average air and water temperatures of 28º and 24º, and LCA as the reference airport.

Cyprus' national tourism portal lists the event as part of the international OCEANMAN series, gives the venue address as Agia Napa Marina, 52 Ayia Thekla Avenue, Agia Napa 5330, and names S BODY AND MIND PRODUCTIONS LTD as organiser.
