Micropolix: A Miniature City for Kids

Micropolix is a Spanish family entertainment center in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, where children aged 4 to 16 can experience a child-sized replica of a real city. The concept blends education and entertainment, allowing kids to role-play adult jobs—from working at El Corte Inglés retail to investigating in a Pascual food lab or driving responsibly at the Renault circuit.

With over 40 different activities and more than 100 roles, children earn Eurix (Micropolix’s currency) for their tasks, which they can save in the on-site bank or spend on other activities. Since opening in December 2008, the venue has welcomed over 2.5 million visitors, becoming Spain’s most recognized edutainment brand.

The atmosphere is lively and immersive, with buildings, shops, theaters, and even moving vehicles and pedestrians. It’s a place where creativity, entrepreneurship, and learning come together in a fun, hands-on environment that kids genuinely enjoy.
