Le Château de Barbe-Bleue

Jacques Offenbach's opéra bouffe *Barbe-bleue* (Bluebeard) comes to life in this Paris performance. Based on Charles Perrault's fairy tale, the story follows the infamous wife-killer Bluebeard and his alchemist Popolani, who secretly spares his spouses. Meanwhile, a princess raised as a shepherdess and a prince in disguise find love amidst courtly intrigue.
