Black Slate, the British reggae band formed in 1974, bring their signature sound to Cambridge. Known for their 1980 hit "Amigo" which reached No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart, the band has a rich history of backing Jamaican legends like Dennis Brown, Delroy Wilson, and Ken Boothe. Attendees can expect a high-energy set blending roots reggae with the band's own classic tracks.
The current lineup includes original founding members Anthony Brightly, Chris Hanson, Desmond Mahoney, and vocalist Jesse Brade.
