ELVANA: ELVIS FRONTED NIRVANA at Exeter Phoenix, 28 November

Elvana, a British crossover tribute band, plays Exeter Phoenix in Exeter on 28 November 2026 at 19:00. The band performs the music of American grunge band Nirvana in the style of an Elvis impersonator. Elvana was founded in 2014 in Newcastle upon Tyne and has four members, all musicians who enjoyed playing grunge and had experience covering Nirvana songs.

When asked to play a set of Nirvana covers at a friend's party, they realised they did not resemble the members of Nirvana and chose to perform dressed as Elvis Presley. Over time they began breaking down some of the Nirvana songs into Elvis ones. The band performed at the 2022 Glastonbury Festival.
