The Mountain Goats Night 1 at Hackney Church, London

The Mountain Goats Night 1 takes place at Hackney Church in London on 21 October 2026, 19:00, with The Mountain Goats on the bill. The Mountain Goats are an American indie folk band formed in Claremont, California, by singer-songwriter John Darnielle. Since 2003 the band has been based in Durham, North Carolina.

For many years Darnielle was the sole member, despite the plural name, and he has since worked with a range of collaborators, including bassist and vocalist Peter Hughes and drummer Jon Wurster. Throughout the 1990s the band was known for low-fidelity home recordings made on a cassette deck boombox. Since 2002 it has taken a more polished approach, often recording studio albums with a full band.
