The Undertones mark their 50th band anniversary with a UK tour, and The Undertones: 50th Anniversary Show comes to Leeds on 16 October 2026. Special guests are The Beat ft Ranking Jnr. The Undertones emerged from Derry, Northern Ireland in 1976.
In 1978 they recorded 'Teenage Kicks' for the Good Vibrations label in Belfast. The live set draws on songs including Get Over You, Jimmy Jimmy, Julie Ocean, Wednesday Week and Teenage Kicks.
The Beat were based in Birmingham, England, and released their debut single through the 2-Tone label in 1979. Ranking Jnr is the son of the late Ranking Roger.
