Elvana: Elvis Fronted Nirvana - Blackburn - King Georges Hall

Elvana: Elvis-fronted Nirvana, a British crossover tribute band, plays King George's Hall on 6 November 2026, 19:00. The group performs the music of American grunge band Nirvana in the style of an Elvis impersonator. The band was founded in 2014 in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Its four members enjoyed performing grunge music and had experience of covering Nirvana songs. After being asked to play a set of Nirvana covers at a friend's party, they decided to perform dressed as Elvis Presley instead.

Over time, they began breaking down some of the Nirvana songs into Elvis ones. The band performed at the 2022 Glastonbury Festival.
