Jake Vaadeland, a Canadian country and bluegrass singer-songwriter from Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, brings his roots sound to York. Performing with his supporting band the Sturgeon River Boys, Vaadeland's set draws from his Juno-winning album *Retro Man ... More and More* and his 2025 release *One More Dollar to Go*, which won Alternative Country Album of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
Attendees can expect original songs and tight musicianship from an artist who has opened for the Hunter Brothers and was a finalist in the SiriusXM Top of the Country competition. The show offers a chance to hear live renditions of tracks from his discography, which includes two EPs and three albums.
