The Australian Pink Floyd at Blackpool Opera House

The Australian Pink Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, play Blackpool Opera House in Blackpool on 14 November 2026, 19:00. Their live shows attempt to recreate the look, feel and sound of Pink Floyd's later world tours, using lasers, inflatables and a large display panel similar to the ones the original band used. The show includes a round screen with intelligent lights arranged around its perimeter, and movies and animations are displayed on it during a concert.

Inflatables include Skippy, the band's own giant pink kangaroo. The line-up includes Paul Bonney on drums, David Domminney Fowler on guitar and vocals, Chris Barnes on vocals, Ricky Howard on bass guitar and vocals, and backing vocalists Emily Lynn, Lara Smiles and Lorelei McBroom.

The band formed in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia. In 1996 they performed at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party.
