Día de Muertos is a Mexican Día de Muertos party at The Button Factory in Dublin on Sunday, 1 November 2026, from 18:00 to 23:00. It is a full venue takeover with live music, DJs, dancers, food, drinks and traditional decorations and activities. The event is sold out, and it is for ages 18 and over.
La Maria Latin Band, Johnny Charro Dublin, Calpulli Mictlan, DJ Mario Romo and Ballet Folklorico Raíces de México are on the programme, and Jenny Santana and Arcaya Garibaldi host. Food comes from Salsa Authentic Mexican Food, Pan de Muerto and more from Fondita Mestiza, and micheladas from Garnacha. An arts and crafts market features Calaca, La Morena and Musho Picoso, and La Patlan does face painting.
Don Julio Tequila sponsors the night. A €100 cash prize goes to the winner of the Catrina costume competition. A photographer takes shots of top Catrina costumes, and the winner is chosen through polls on Instagram @realeventsireland after the event.
