Otherworld: Horrors of the Deep Sea in Dublin, 30 October 2026

Otherworld: Horrors of the Deep Sea is a free Halloween event for children, held at The Rediscovery Centre in Dublin on 30 October 2026 as part of Ballymun's Otherworld Festival. It runs from 10:00 to 16:30. The event explores the strange, spooky and surprising creatures that live in the deep ocean.

Children travel through the layers of the sea, from the sunlit surface to the darkest ocean trenches, where glowing predators, giant squid and bizarre deep-sea life await. Along the way they meet a cast of characters including pirates, scuba divers and marine scientists. Lurking in the shadows are real-life plastic pollution monsters.

The event is for children aged 6 to 12. It is free, but booking is required.
