Eagles of Death Metal at The Academy, Dublin, 27 November 2026

Eagles of Death Metal play The Academy in Dublin on 27 November 2026, 19:00. Entry is for over 18s only, and valid ID is required. Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998.

Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums) founded it, and they are the only permanent members. Homme rarely performs at live shows because of his commitment to Queens of the Stone Age. The touring line-up has Hughes alongside Leah Bluestein (drums), Scott Shiflett (guitar), Dustin Douglas (bass) and Rex Roulette (guitar).

Despite the name, the band is not a death metal band, and the name is meant to be humorous. The band released its debut album, Peace, Love, Death Metal, in March 2004.
