ModaLisboa (67th Lisboa Fashion Week) runs 7-11 October 2026 at Patio da Gale, Lisbon

ModaLisboa, also known as Lisboa Fashion Week, is Portugal's leading fashion event, running twice a year since 1991 and showcasing Portuguese and international designers' runway collections alongside talks, exhibitions and a young-designers platform. The October 2026 edition is the 67th, presented as MODALISBOA PRIORITY with OMODA & JAECOO as title sponsor, and is co-organised by the Municipality of Lisbon and the ModaLisboa Association with support from Turismo de Portugal.

Dates and schedule. The 67th Lisboa Fashion Week runs from 7 to 11 October 2026. The programme opens on 7 October with a conference at MAAT Central, continues with Fast Talks professional-development sessions at MUDE - Design Museum from 8 to 11 October, and includes the Sangue Novo (New Blood) young-designers competition on 9 October. A pop-up store at Moldo Studios runs from 1 to 11 October, ahead of and alongside the main event days.

Where it happens. The main runway shows and headquarters are based at Patio da Gale and its Sala do Risco, on Praca do Comercio in central Lisbon's Baixa Pombalina district, a riverside site previously home to the Paco Real and Casa da India. Satellite programming, including talks and the pop-up store, is spread across other venues in the city, including MAAT Central, MUDE - Design Museum and Moldo Studios.

Tickets. Admission to ModaLisboa's public programme is free, but a reservation is required to attend shows and sessions; reservations are managed through the official ModaLisboa website and app closer to each show date. No separate paid-ticket tier has been announced for the 2026 edition.

Getting there. Patio da Gale sits in Lisbon's Baixa district on the Praca do Comercio riverfront, a short walk from the Terreiro do Paco and Baixa-Chiado metro stations (Blue and Green lines) and served by multiple tram and bus routes along the river. MAAT Central and MUDE are both also within central Lisbon and reachable on foot or by public transport from the same area.

Tips. More than 25 established Portuguese designers, including Nuno Baltazar, Luis Onofre and Carlos Gil, are on the 2026 schedule alongside 10 emerging designers competing in Sangue Novo, so shows can run back-to-back across the week - check the official programme for exact show times before planning a visit.

Because shows require a reservation despite being free, book slots as soon as the schedule opens rather than assuming walk-in access. Lisbon's Baixa district gets busy with tourists in October, so allow extra time to move between venues if attending multiple sessions in a day.
