O Bad Manners
Part of the late-1970s and early-1980s two-tone ska revival alongside contemporaries such as Madness and the Specials, Bad Manners built a run of UK hit singles including "Special Brew," "Lip Up Fatty," "Can Can," and "Walking in the Sunshine." Studio albums from the period include Ska 'n' B (1980), Loonee Tunes! (1980), Gosh It's ... Bad Manners (1981), and Forging Ahead (1982), and the band spent a combined 111 weeks on the UK Singles Chart between 1980 and 1983.
The group appeared in the 1981 ska documentary Dance Craze alongside its two-tone contemporaries, split briefly in 1987, and reformed not long after. Bloodvessel remains the band's frontman and continues to tour with a rotating lineup of musicians, performing the group's ska and new wave catalogue.
