Gordon Buchanan
Gordon Buchanan is a Scottish wildlife filmmaker and broadcaster born in 1972, known for decades of documentary work filming animals across Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa. He began his career in the late 1980s as a camera assistant on wildlife productions before becoming a prominent presenter for the BBC, building a reputation for close-quarters filming of big cats and other predators. He was appointed MBE in 2020 for services to conservation and wildlife filmmaking.

O Gordon Buchanan
His best-known series include The Bear Family & Me, The Polar Bear Family & Me and Tribes, Predators & Me, part of a body of more than forty documentaries made since 2002. Alongside his television work, Buchanan tours the UK with a live stage show, 30 Years in the Wild, presenting footage and stories drawn from his career following wildlife in some of the world's most remote environments.
