The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert is a live-to-film presentation of the 1992 musical film The Muppet Christmas Carol, in which a symphony orchestra performs the film's score live while the movie is projected above the stage. The original film, directed by Brian Henson in his feature directorial debut following the death of his father, Muppets creator Jim Henson, adapts Charles Dickens's 1843 novella A Christmas Carol with a cast of Muppet performers alongside Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge.
