Arrival of the Village at Ballhaus Naunynstraße, Berlin

Arrival of the Village is a performance by Magda Korsinsky at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in Berlin on Sunday, 20 December 2026, at 19:00. It is performed in German, English and French, with German and English surtitles. Three performers act in a space created especially for the production.

The starting point is a set of interviews that Magda Korsinsky conducted with Black and queer people. The piece centres on inherited role models, personal childhood experiences, economic pressure and structural injustice, love and anger, shared responsibility and healing models of relationship. The performers combine lived experience with movement, rap and song.

Magda Korsinsky works in a documentary manner as a choreographer. Arrival of the Village is her fifth work at Ballhaus Naunynstraße.

Tickets start at EUR 15.40. Ballhaus Naunynstraße is at Naunynstraße 27, 10997 Berlin, and was founded in 2008 by Shemin Langhoff.
