The film is a DDR/DEFA production from 1973, premiered in 1974, directed by Konrad Wolf, a satirical-episodic artist film in colour, 101 minutes. The sculptor Kemmel takes on the commission to create a sculpture for the sports field of his home village; his naked runner first collides with the expectations of the village community and opens a discussion about art, the public sphere and the question of whom art is actually obliged to.

The supporting film is Das Stacheltier – Ein Pferd müsste man haben (short film, DEFA). The organiser is KOMPAKT MEDIA GmbH & Co. KG, Breiter Weg 114a, 39104 Magedburg, Deutschland.
