Rhythm of the Dance - Live 2027

This live event brings the artistry of ice dance to Gießen, showcasing the rhythm dance—the first segment of competitive ice dance. Audiences can expect a display of technical skill and musical interpretation as performers execute prescribed steps, turns, and movements to designated rhythms.

The program, lasting approximately 2 minutes and 50 seconds, must include a pattern dance element and be choreographed to reach all sides of the rink. Ice dance teams choose music with an audible rhythmic beat, reflecting the character of the selected dance rhythms.
